Future bookings
You can pre-book rides from within the app. After you have selected the ride addresses, you will see the "order now" button, and next to this is the calendar icon which allows you to pre-book by choosing the date and time from there. For Future Orders, you must book 60 minutes in advance and the ride must be 3 miles or more.
Please note all rides are subject to the availability of drivers within the area around that time, even with future rides. Future rides are in place to allow drivers to see them and have the option to reserve themselves on them, if they don't, the ride gets dispatched out to the fleet within the area 10 minutes before pick-up time.
Pets
Many drivers will be willing to allow pets in their taxi's but there are a few that may not be. We highly advise adding this in the 'Note to Driver' so the driver who accepts the ride is happy to proceed and is aware of the situation
When making the booking, slide the bottom half of the page upwards and you will see 'Note to Driver'.
Number of passengers and bags
A standard taxi can fit 5 people while an XL taxi can fit 6 people.
Generally, all flight-approved suitcases can fit inside a taxi.
It is possible to fit 4 passengers along with 3-4 large suitcases
Car seats
London black cabs do not provide baby seats. However, you can take your pram in with your kid strapped inside. Make sure your child is properly strapped in, and turn on the brakes. Some black cabs provide additional straps to help secure the stroller. If you do not wish to keep your child in the stroller then your child has to sit in the rear seat with an adult seat belt when riding. You can have your little ones sit on your lap if they are under three years old.
